The last Breed Club Water Test of the 2025 Season, and after a full season of training, expectations were high for a hat full of test passes, particularly with conditions set fair…..
With 28 Entries to test on the Saturday, I made the decision to run both swims, whilst on the Sunday we scaled down to just the one swim to cater for the 22 tests on the second day.
We welcomed guests from NewForest, Terranova, WNAG, Midland, and SEWN, several of whom enjoyed the comfort of our Luxury Lakeside Lodges for the weekend, they were all put to good use with plenty of stewarding duties. Many thanks for all of your help.
Of the 50 entries, we had 4 withdraw, and final test numbers were A- 11.. with 10 passes, B – 14 with 4 passes, C – 10 ..with no passes, D – 6 …with 1 pass, and E – 5 with 1 pass.
Clearly – the expectations of a hat full of passes was not achieved, indeed the only pass at level D and E was Georgia – a Golden Doodle trained by Chris and Clive Haylock… well done guys for showing the Newfs how it should be done…
To our Judges, the stewards, our “strangers” , our entrants, and those guests who came along to observe, thank-you for your support over the weekend, and we hope to see you all again next year.

We had 11 entries today, all of which passed except one, who did not want to fetch the article. One dog achieved an excellent first-time pass – well done!

Firstly, I would like to thank you for asking me to judge. The weather was really kind to us, and it was sunny.
We had nine entries, but unfortunately we had no passes. Many of them were uncomfortable with the strangers and the ring.
I would like to thank all our stewards and helms, who did a great job.

It was a perfect morning for the final Section E Water Test of the season at Grangewaters. We had five entries from experienced dogs, each of which passed at least one element, with some excellent work being displayed. We also had one pass to round off the morning.
Many thanks to the stewards, the test manager and the host members at Grangewaters, and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2026.
