This database is only starting out and we really need your help so it can grow and become as accurate and useful as possible. We've based it initially on the Newfoundland club Heart Testing report which means we've had to make some assumptions about things like the gender and colour. At the outset all recorded dogs have been set up as male and black. Also, we only have access to the last recorded heart test for each dog and only for dogs where the owners have given permission for the results to be published.
As the database stands, you can select an individual dogs' record and see what information is stored for it. Very soon we will have the facility for you to notify us of any corrections you would like us to make and to notify us of new or corrected test results.
We also want to expand the database to include other health matters such as Hip Scoring, Cystinuria testing, elbow scoring etc and would also welcome your comments on how to improve it. These should be sent to the
